A walk taking you through some of the most fertile plains on the island, without too much climbing. You pass through the farm of one of the major tomato-growing enterprises in the UK and wander through some very serene countryside. Eventually you pass through the renowned picture-book village of Godshill, famous for its many cream tea establishments and photogenic village church. This is a circular walk where you will not go short of tea and scones.

Sep 17 - Road through Godshill is busy and not the nicest to walk along. Once off the road the route is nice. I had to check the directions and map quite a lot as the footpath signposts are few and far between. I ran the route with the dog. No livestock, very wet and muddy underfoot in places.
