Marlow possesses an attractive town centre, occupies an enviable position on a broad sweep of the River Thames and has the Chiltern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on its doorstep. This short saunter visits many of Marlow's points of interest. These include the river-bridge, Marlow Lock, some fine buildings, the former haunts of famous literary figures, churches, museum and tourist information office.
Information for Dog Owners: dogs need to be on the leash throughout this walk among Marlow's shoppers and traffic. Your dog would appreciate much more the nearby Walk 6658, in the rural Little Marlow Lakes area.
