A 5.5-mile walk mostly level, with amazing views of Teide, the observatory and the Fasnia range of mountains, walking mainly on soft earth and finishing on a long, uphill forestry track. It would be easy to do this walk in reverse if you choose to avoid the uphill on a forestry track. Either way you end up with an ascent, albeit not steep.

A very nice walk with stunning views of Teide. The start was not that clear in the instructions as it is on TF24 between kilometer posts 38 and 39. I would also recommend walking it in reverse order as the forestry road is a real slog and not very interesting. The walk is also definitely 5.5 miles and not 4.4 as shown in the initial information.
