An almost-circular walk (the circle completed by a high frequency, cheap, short, tram and bus journey), taking in twelve woods and eleven parks within the South-West of Sheffield. The walk is classed as an 'Easy Walk' in the direction shown. By reversing the route there would be almost no hills to climb and many quite steep descents, making it a 'Gentle Stroll'. Only small parts of the walk are technically in the Peak District, but the terrain is typically Peak District throughout and the proximity is so close as to make this the only sensible classification.
