Through the Sluggan

With one car you can do the circular walk from Loch Morlich to the Sluggan and back. With two cars or a pickup you can continue through the pass to Milton Cottages, giving you good views over the River Spey towards Boat of Garten. The ascent is through pine forest, but open; the descent after the pass is very scenic, in more natural pine forest. At the summit you can divert for 0.5k up to the mast shown on the map. Paths are broad and not really muddy, but boots are best.
Refreshments, toilets etc. are at the east end of Loch Morlich.
