Tibbs Hollow is a car park for walkers and picnic area in the Parish of Frampton. It's also near a long since buried Roman Aqueduct, which the walk takes you near. There's an information board about the aqueduct at the picnic area. It was built when there was a Roman settlement in Durnovaria, or as it's known today Dorchester! Mainly easy going apart from a couple of short sharp climbs, one a bit muddy but well worth it with great views looking back of rolling Dorset countryside.
From the car park, straight into pretty Metland Woods, out into paddocks, then onto farm roads. Onto a stretch of National Cycle Route 26, on a quiet country lane, that runs next to the River Frome. Farm fields (with the chance of cattle!) and Hampton Plantations with its long barrow
