This walk is mostly on good paths, grassy or stone. At the beginning the route is over fields, possibly with wet grass; and there may be some mud in the wood out of Poors Allotment. The views are extensive over towards the Cotswolds. This walk may be linked to Walk 1427, as they both start at the same car park.

We did this walk on 17th October 2010. It was a glorious day and the views were fantastic. The only time we got a bit confused was the distance from the entry onto Poors Allotment until you cross the stream (point 3). But if you keep to the grassy track and go straight ahead you can't miss it. Look forward to doing this walk again.
