Tissington - Alsop Station - Dove Dale - Biggin Dale - Biggin - Parwich - Tisington
This is a quite demanding walk, with some steep climbs and descents. Mostly following field-paths and tracks, the route is quite easy to follow and all stiles and waymarks were present when walked, though some waymarks are too far off the line of path to be of any use.
There is a good mixture of conditions, with most climbs and descents on the outward route, though with one short quite steep climb between Parwich and Tissington on the return.
The pub used on this walk is The Waterloo in Biggin. This is a walker-friendly pub and has a camping and caravan site in the field behind. It is open daily at lunchtimes except Monday, staying open through the day from 11am on Friday to Sunday. They offer a good-value menu with generous portions, also a choice of real ales with a couple from Black Sheep Brewery when walked.
