Tittesworth Reservoir is situated high up in the Staffordshire moorland area and overlooked by The Roaches, a dramatic gritstone edge. Starting from the car park close to the visitors' centre, the walk takes you through woodlands and open countryside whilst skirting around the reservoir. This beautiful stretch of water and the surrounding area is teeming with a variety of wildlife. After crossing the dam at the far end of the reservoir, you will climb up through mixed woodland taking you away from the reservoir for a short time. Once clear of the woods you will return to the car park along farm tracks and a short stretch along a quiet country lane, where you will enjoy panoramic views of The Roaches and surrounding area.
