The route starts at the old Saxon village of Tittleshall which is set in a very rural area of Norfolk. At first it is along a very quiet country lane, then across farmland, through woods and along field edges to another old Saxon village, Whissonsett. The return journey is across fields to the ancient derelict village of Godwick.

Really hard going between points 3-6. Field paths pretty much gone due to the plough with the track between points 4-5. Too overgrown to use. Field between points 7-8 walkable but not particular pleasurable. The walk is rescued by the church and medieval village site at Godwick. I will assume when Joy created the route the paths were more evident and walker friendly.

Walked this 21/02/20, several field paths have been ploughed over. Route through farm waymark 9 closed off. Divert to left through farmyard.

Grid ref:TF910224Lat:52.7660027Long:0.8304488 We did this walk yesterday (20/11/10) and there were several footpaths that had been ploughed up and not re-instated. Also at the above grid reference the path has been completely blocked by turkey breeding pens. We did make our way round it but it is quite a diversion from the walk.
