A fairly easy walk to fill in a couple of hours relaxing from the bustle of the popular town of Tintagel. It could easily be fitted in with our other walk from Tintagel (ID No 1095). These walks are ideal for mixed parties where some are not keen on walking, as there is plenty to do in Tintagel and there is transport down to the castle for the less able.

I walked this route today and thoroughly enjoyed it, but the map references for the first two way marks are incorrect in the .GPX file. Way mark 1 (top right corner of the car park) is too far west. It should be around 05270 86419. Similarly the second way mark should be around 05325 86469. I think the way marks have been placed where the footpath marked on the OS 1:50,000 map would lead you to expect, instead of where they really are. Not a big problem - we soon worked out where we needed to go and had a great time. Thanks, Tricia Lynch.
