If you enjoy magnificent views and lovely beaches, a breathtaking headland or two but don’t want lung-bursting coastal paths, then this walk is ideal for you. There are no steep climbs of any note and it is perhaps the easiest section of coastal walking on the North Cornwall coast.

En route you visit, walk by, or on some lovely beaches, including Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivey’s Bay, Booby’s Bay and Constantine Bay, with good surfing from at least two of the beaches.

In addition to the beautiful beaches you walk by a wonderful North Cornish headland, Trevose Head. with the North Atlantic Ocean crashing onto the rocks below. You also walk close to Padstow lifeboat station with its steep launching ramp and a mile or so on, the large Trevose Head lighthouse.

From Constantine Bay the walk loops inland, but regains the coastal path to Harlyn for the last section back to Trevone Bay.

28/12/18 We loved this well directed walk. Great coastal walking. We did go a little bit wrong coming off the beach at Constantine Bay but this worked in our favour as in the village is a little shop selling coffee and sandwiches and that's where we had lunch- they had tables outside. We picked up the route again at the golf clubhouse.

We did this walk on a cold February morning. The coastline is lovely and we saw seals for the first time.
