Initially there is a stretch of tarmac, but the road is generally quiet and soon left behind as the route heads into farmland. Good tracks lead to a stud and the tiny village of Goadby. Rolleston really just consists of a large farm, which is well-hidden behind high walls. Again Skeffington is only touched briefly as the walk heads back towards Tugby.
