From the little hamlet of Uña we begin with an easy ramble along the lakeside lane, later passing the entrance to the fish farm and fishing school that can be visited. Soon we head off to start a long and steady climb up a rocky footpath that eventually brings us high above the lake. From here we have a simple ramble, mostly through pine forest as we wend our undulating way. We pass stunning viewpoints and will see griffon vultures circling around us. The final part of the hike takes us down a fairly precarious path initially and later twists and turns its way back down to the lake. In a few minutes we are back at the start.
