The walk may be started from either car park as the purpose is to describe a pleasant route that joins them. The going underfoot is easy, although the beach is unpredictable and there are plenty of landmarks to make easy navigation. The walk enables you to reach walks from either car park if one is full, as it may well be on summer weekends, or to find facilities that may be in only one of them. It includes beach-walking, tracks in the open and in woodland, so that there is a good mixture of terrain.
