Starting from the delightful village of Walderton, this short, circular walk takes you up and around Walderton Down with fantastic views for many miles around. This is a perfect walk for all reasonably fit members of the family and ideal for working up an appetite for your return to the village pub! There are no difficult stiles on the route, so your dog will enjoy it too.

28 May 2015. It's a great walk and totally off lead bar the start and end. Lots of wonderful views tho our gps showed it as being over 5 miles and we didn't go wrong, took about two hours.

So organized me my husband my dog and my two children. Brought some friends (5 adults and 3 more children and another dog) followed very clear instructions and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Just about to subscribe to the full site and intend to try and do a different walk every Sunday. Thank you walking world.

We enjoyed this walk yesterday morning finding Sylvia's instructions very easy to follow. Despite weeks of heavy rain the conditions underfoot weren't too bad although inevitably there was some mud. We were lucky enough to spot Buzzards and Fallow Deer during the course of the walk.
