Generations of Syndney-siders have taken the ferry out to Watson's Bay to visit the beach or to enjoy the food and views at Doyles on the Beach.
This walk takes will allow you to join that pilgrimage but also to take in the bush walk out to South Head at the mouth of Sydney Harbour to enjoy the views and the history associated with South Head and its role in protecting Sydney from attack over the centuries.
There is the added attraction of a couple of great beaches too.
