This walk was originally submitted by Brian & Anne Sandland. Walkingworld is very grateful for Sid Marks taking over the walk, May 2021. Walk titles and route directions may have changed since the walk was first published.

This walk complements another of our walks available from Walkingworld, which starts from Thorpe-le-Soken. It uses pleasant field and woodland paths and country lanes. You pass Honeypot Fruit Farm (aptly named in late summer). You begin and end at the tiny station at Weeley, where free parking is also available.

A beautiful walk along quiet country lanes and fields, highly recommended.Excellent walk instructions. Just one update at Waymark 1,When you pass Alexandra Road on the right, there is now a group of new build houses on the left ahead. The field gate has gone and there is now a tarmac path to the right leading to the green metal kissing-gate at waymark 2.

Hi all walk ID:1613 12/3/06 Just compleeted this walk another great one from Anne & Brian lots of variety, how nice it is, them doing all the hard work and we just follow the frist class instructions with no effort at all, and the sun came out which is a bonus. May I suggest if you do this walk with a dog, put it on the lead at waypoint 5 as there are a large number of horses until you reach waypoint 6. Best wishes Peter.
