This is the third and final section of the walk from Colchester North Station to Clacton-on-Sea Station. The total distance is approximately 23 miles. The route is included in Walkingworld walks numbered 3006 to 3008. The route avoids roads as far as possible, but gives the opportunity to break up the walk at any of the intermediate stations along the way. On this leg you could use the train from Thorpe-le-Soken. This final section is on farmland, country tracks and the seafront between Holland-on-Sea and Clacton.
