This walk is along tracks above the town, where there are fine views of the coastline. These tracks lead down onto the marshes where wading-birds and wild geese can be seen. The bank path above the creeks takes you back into the fishing port of the town.

Please note there is about a mile of road walking during this walk on a fairly busy road.

We completed this walk (Amanda and I) on 17 May 2020. We live reasonably close to Wells so we decided we were not breaking any lock down rules by undertaking this walk. The route takes you well away from the tourist part of Wells so we were pleased to discover some new areas for future use not least a couple of pubs and restaurants. For those interested in birds (feathered) take your binoculars as there are some good opportunities to see both British and visiting birds as you approach the marshes. No problems with walking instructions.
