A circular walk including a very pleasant old English village (having an ancient church with famous medieval paintings and village stocks and whipping-post from the 1600s), through a vineyard with views of the South Downs, woodland and farmland. You will also pass one of the last windmills in Sussex, converted to a private house in the 1920s. There is great variety of wildlife, plants and flowers. At one point of the walk you will also pass a field of llamas!

We did this walk on a sunny June day. We wanted somewhere a bit more sheltered so our dogs didn’t get too hot, and we got plenty of that. Contrary to the other comment, we thought the area was very pretty: lots of beautiful gardens and streams. Vineyard was immaculate. And we saw llamas! Not too overgrown and very satisfying.

We did this walk on the 13th of July. Not a bad walk but in our opinion a little tedious. There was not too much to see, the Llamas had gone. Some of the paths were overgrown. Distance was 4 miles, directions were however perfect but this walk could do with being thinned out for less waypoints as it is quite easy to follow the footpaths. 5/10.
