Did this lengthy walk on a beautiful October day and it was hugely satisfying. The rolling countryside hereabouts offers lots of wide views and the numerous woods looked stunning in their autumn colours. Also lots of buzzards and red kites. We chose to start at Withersfield so that a well-earned pint could be enjoyed in the excellent White Horse afterwards. Thanks once again to Brian & Anne.

Did this walk twice in 1 month (March)! - very clear route and both times after a dry spell so no muddy fields but most enjoyable and lovely villages / woods along the way

We did this walk on a (wet) Bank Holiday Monday. Contrary to the walk description many of the paths are long grass, or through crops and therefore on soil; the result was unpleasant. This may be a reasonable walk in dry weather when pushing through long grass is just an inconvenience; in wet weather one to be avoided.
