Starting at the cricket club at White Coppice (refreshments in summer at weekends), walk over The Goyt, a culverted river that feeds the reservoirs, then down to the road at Anglezarke Reservoir to walk past farms on the quiet road (use caution of course!) with a shorter direct route to the right, or a much more pleasant route by three small reservoirs to watch the anglers, then over a pleasant little footbridge to take in the lower part of White Coppice with all the country cottages, making it very photogenic.
