This walk takes in some breathtaking views of Grasmere, the picturesque Loughrigg Tarn (as seen in the 'Miss Potter' movie) and a cave. It starts in the woods between Rydal and Grasmere and after crossing the river and walking through the woods, the path continues along the well-known Loughrigg Terrace, providing panoramic views over the Vale of Grasmere. After walking round the fell the very pretty Loughrigg Tarn comes into view and provides the opportunity for a well-earned rest while taking in the views. All along the walk the views are tremendous and are obtainable without too much of a climb.
