This superb little walk is amidst simply beautiful countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds. From the first footpath entrance, the whole of the way is just magical, the views across some of the most marvellous landscape you could wish to encounter. Wild meadows are a constant feature and streams and brooks flow continuously in this area. The village of Wigginton is charming and pretty, the stone and thatch cottages of picture-postcard quality. The same is true of Swerford and both have very lovely little churches and pubs that sell the local Hook Norton Brewery ales. Not great in length, but big in appeal, this walk is ideal for those seeking a pleasant saunter with memorable scenes.
