The route is 90% along tracks through the fen area of the Isle of Ely. It takes you into the village of Witchford, where there is an excellent hostelry.

This was a great Sunday morning walk, but very muddy for the first half... I guess it is January though! The instructions were easy to follow - thanks, we had a really nice walk.

The second part of the walk from point 2 to the farm houses was quite overgrown but still walkable. There were large muddy sections we had to avoid as well. Overall we enjoyed the walk though we had to short circuit missing out parts 5, 6, 7 because the children weren't willing. The village itself is one of the highlights of the walk.
