Wombwell - Stairfoot - Barnsley

The route starts at Wombwell rail station, which is about 2km away from the town centre, via track and woodland to reach the Trans-Pennine Trail. Next along the TPT, a disused railway, for about 4km. Then through Dearne Valley Park, at the side of the River Dearne and the disused Dove and Dearne Canal, into Barnsley town centre and the finish at the rail station.
