This moorland circuit lies above the walking centre of Newtonmore, in Badenoch, the geographical centre of Scotland. Set against the wonderful backdrop of the Monadhliath Mountains, the walk is rated on the easy side of moderate, having no steep ascents or descents but including a couple of burn crossings. You will share a peaceful, open and airy landscape with sheep and upland birds – and nothing else.
