The Hollies is a 'Victorian Gentlemen's Residence' fully refurbished in 2015, offering both B&B and self catering accommodation situated on the north side of Appleby just 1/2 mile from Appleby station on the world famous Settle - Carlisle railway.
B&B 4 Star rated by Visit England. 2 double/twin en suite rooms are available. 1 dog per room welcome.
Our attached dog friendly self catering lodge is a charming cottage dating from around 1890. It was built as a museum attached to the main house & retains some of its original pine cladding. It has a fully accessible ground floor with one double/twin room & with 2 more bedrooms & a shower room upstairs, sleeping a total of 7.
Sitting in 3 acres of grounds and woodland with spring and summer wild flower meadows. Blending homely Victorian elegance with modern facilities and 'green' credentials we provide the perfect base to explore by foot cycle or car. Boot room with dog shower & secure cycle/bike storage. Charging point for electric cars.
