There is quite a lot of climbing in the first part of the walk, but there is always something of interest. The reservoir supports a lot of sporting activity as well as abundant birdlife. The return route through the Sor Brook Valley is in direct contrast to the outward route through woods, while there are many who take great interest in the old trade routes, one of which is the track walked from Waymark 16 down to the church.

Walked 30/08/2011. Lovely walk with great views. We started walk at WP 5. Stile at WP6 broken difficult to climb over fencing; footpaths are severly overgrown especially WP16-17 also electric fence across farm track no warning sign and footpath WP3-4 was overgrown and trellising was rotting in places making it dangerous.

not good for small fluffy white dogs especialy going past the farms, we now have a small smelly brown not so fluffy dog. quite a rugged walk for about 1.5m through a narrow track halfway through, good walking boots advised.
