A pleasant walk with terrific views from the top. The directions are clear and accurate. There are occasional short steep inclines, but nothing unmanageable (more of a problem on the way down than up!). Much of the wooded areas are managed forest, so there is some machinery damage to paths which are at times muddy. A couple of points worth noting: - the beginning of the walk is through fields which have sheep in them, so obvious precautions for dogs are needed. - parts of the wooded areas are used for game bird rearing, so again reasonable precautions for walkers with dogs.
