The walk goes through a number of pastures and includes some short stretches of narrow lane before rising over moorland to Conwy Mountain. The majority of the stiles have been replaced by kissing-gates and the route uses good tracks on the higher ground. Views of Snowdonia and across the sea, which is directly below you towards the end of the walk, are superb. The grading is affected by the ridge of Conwy Mountain; otherwise the walk would be moderate.

I have completed this walk several times and love it. The mountain ranges and views are spectacular. I love the newly changed final few waypoints along the sea front.

An excellent walk which my wife and I really enjoyed. The navigation around the caravan park was a little tricky but as long as you head for the entrance/exit you will pick up the route again. Some lovely views of Conwy and the surrounding area!!

Have done this walk 4 times, at 1st just me and my wife and afterwards with friends. They all thoroughly enjoyed walk as being varied with walking through woods, country lanes and of course Conwy Mountain itself. All have passed comment on the views right from waymark 2 onwards. Highly recommended.

I did this walk on 17/05/09, initially in steady rain but with the skies miraculously clearing once I reached the Sychnant Pass. From there on, wonderful views of the Great Orme and Conwy Bay from Conwy Mountain, particularly if you skirt around the seaward side of it as I did. (Conwy Mountain is not a place where you can easily get lost.) Relatively easy going underfoot for North Wales, with lots of wild horses about. I had no trouble following Jim's directions, as I recall, although the coach car park in Conwy (waymark 1) was strangely elusive!
