We were in Edinburgh recently visiting our son who lives there and Mike wanted to see the Falkirk Wheel. It was only 30 minutes by train from Haymarket Station and, following advice from my college Principal, a Falkirk man, we went a stop beyond Falkirk to Camelon Station from where it was only ten minutes walk to the Union Inn. Lovely short walk and good way of accessing the Wheel and Mike was not disappointed. He took lots of photographs! The car trip was well worth doing too. An excellent day out.
