There are many lovely walks in the Cotswolds around Cheltenham. This is a comparatively little-known route which nevertheless affords some excellent views over Cheltenham to Gloucester and the Black Mountains beyond. The route passes a secluded woodland reserve, takes in a stretch of the Cotswold Way and descends via a grassy ridge above the Chelt Valley.
