Two Kent villages, Limpsfield Chart and Crockham Hill, the delightful hamlet of Froghole, mixed deciduous woodland, pleasant fields, oast houses and magnificent dwellings are all encountered on this walk, which explores the boundary between the Weald and the North Downs, making good use of National Trust woodland.

There's a bit of a steep climb back at the end.

Walked 25.04.2021 Walking this for the third time has made us realise what a truly lovely walk this is. There is always something new to look at as the seasons change. Directions / photos are still accurate. Absolutely lovely views, great variety and definitely one of our favourites!

Walked 04/02/2021 with my faithful 9yr old German Shepherd dog. Stunning walk, even at this time of year, but obviously very wet and muddy due to weeks of rain! The directions are well written and easy to follow. Relatively flat terrain but one hell of a walk up hill on the last stretch, but so worth it! A four seasons walk and I’m already looking forward to revisiting in Spring.

Walked 29.11.2020. This is a lovely walk with perfect directions and a great deal of variety. Directions are spot on and clear. We loved the 'run down the steps, march on, sail past the church', very funny. Couple of points, between wp2 and wp3 there is a track running downhill by a marker post. Ignore the right turn here and keep straight until you reach the obvious lane. between 6 and 7 when you reach the road, take great care crossing, it's a blind bend. Make sure at point 14 you pick the path by the house (marked Crokham Hill), the narrow one to the left of the garages leads straight down between fences. If you picked this one, you've gone wrong!. A well written, beautiful walk. 10/10

A lovely walk, on a really nice bright, sunny day. The Royal Oak at Crockham Hill was well worth stopping off at for a pint, very friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely walk and will repeat (a good sign). A few tips for would-be walkers. Item 12. Very important to turn right across the fern field before descending(easily missed)! Item 14. Keep to right of field to discover bridge. Item 16. Through kissing gate and pass private lake on your right. Pond no longer there. Item 17. Turn sharp right after lake before walking up to Vanguard Way. Note that final walk up the lane is steep and long (3/4 mile).

This is a great little walk - nice houses, beautiful fields etc. At Waymark 2, the fingerpost sign has broken off and is just propped up against the tree - will get harder to see as the year goes on.

Really pleasant and easy walk, apart from the long drag up hill at the end!

A really nice walk in Limpsfield. Well worth it and superb views. The 'down the steps' across the field, section was great. A true gem of a walk. 10/10.
