Here is a fine walk, hilly in parts, yielding wonderful views in the splendid countryside of West Dorset. We walk part of the Wessex Ridgeway to ascend Gerrard's Hill, descending from the ridge to enter Stoke Abbott. Leaving the village via the churchyard, we take a lovely, varied route across country to traverse Luccombe Farm. We then follow a minor road into Netherbury, an attractive village on the River Brit. Another beautiful stretch awaits us along the Brit Valley Way leading back into Beaminster. Here there are pubs and grub galore. At nearby Mosterton you can go llama-trekking too!

A very interesting and fairly hard walk. The description of way points could do with some more details - easy to take wrong path We are experienced walkers would not recommend this for a beginner

A good walk however some of the paths have now been diverted and the descriptions of waypoints could do with additional photos as it is very easy to get lost.
