Balloch - Stoneymollan Road - Gouk Hill - Bannachra Muir - Duck Bay - Balloch

The route follows an old coffin road and drove road into the forests above Loch Lomond. Then a climb up the Killoeter Escarpment leads on to the superb viewpoint of Gouk Hill, overlooking Loch Lomond. After this, good forest tracks and cycle paths lead through Bannachra Muir to Arden, then Duck Bay on Loch Lomond, with its pub and restaurant facilities. From here it's just a short stroll back to your starting point. There are outstanding views of Loch Lomond right along the route and a view over the Firth of Clyde to Greenock from Darleith Muir.

At point 13 there a quite a lot of trees down but good to climb under and over, wife was not happy at that point but enjoyed the walk.
