The River Wandle could be described as South London's hidden river. It runs for nine miles from its twin sources at Croydon and Carshalton to the Thames at Wandsworth. This walk joins the Wandle at Morden Hall Park and walks upstream to both its sources, passing the remains of some of the ninety mills it used to support. Route-finding can appear complicated but basically follows The Wandle Trail.
