'Bournemouth Bus Pass' Walk: Tuckton Bridge to Southbourne Crossroads

The walk starts from Tuckton Bridge, which crosses the River Stour to the east of Tuckton. Harvester have a bar-restaurant alongside the river here and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. From the Tuckton Bridge roundabout you walk down into the riverside gardens, passing a lovely café, along the Stour Way. The path passes alongside Wick Village and along through footpaths to Double Dykes and delightful views of Hengistbury Head, the Isle of Wight and Poole Bay. From here the walk goes along the low clifftop to join the Promenade. You then walk up the zigzag to Southbourne Crossroads.
