A Black Country Urban Walk with a Difference!
The walk starts at the car park of Warrens Hall Park. We leave the park for a short road walk to Climb up and around a disused quarry across and around the local golf course to the twin transmitter masts on Turner's Hill.

From here the walk slowly descends via Bury Hill park, where we exit onto the A4123. A small amount of street walking allows us to join the Birmingham Canal, which we walk for 1 mile in the open air before heading into Netherton tunnel.

The tunnel is nearly 2 miles long, but because it is straight we can see the light of the other end.

Emerging at the other end of Warrens Hill Park, we are greeted by Cobb's Engine House, a relic from our industrial past. From here you head back to the car park.

5/1/19 Another County High Point off the list. Very interesting to walk through the canal tunnel although you need boots as there are some deep stretches of water, apparently the other side is drier
