Chirk, the Castle and the Canal Tunnel

In recent years new permitted paths have been opened by the National Trust in the extensive grounds of Chirk Castle. This walk, which has no stiles, uses some of these and also quiet estate roads with a grand finale of a long tunnel on the Llangollen Canal - don't forget your torch! I am sure that children would enjoy this walk but you would need to take extra care when in the tunnel.
