A varied and interesting, delightful morning walk highlighting the many beautiful areas in Bournemouth and Poole between the two train stations. The walk starts with a short stroll down through tree-lined avenues and a park into Bournemouth Town Centre. You then walk up through the outstanding Middle and Upper Gardens, passing Coy Pond, to the top of Branksome Chine. The walk proceeds down the length of Branksome Chine to the Promenade. You then re-ascend the chine for a couple of hundred metres and pass out into wealthy, tree-lined Poole avenues, passing the high-class Parkstone Golf Course and Parkstone Cemetery. The walk continues through Whitecliff Park alongside Poole Harbour. After the lifeboat station you come along the quay itself, up the High Street with finishing choices of the train station, the bus station or the coach station.
