We begin in the Recinto Ferial and follow the well-marked route in a south-easterly direction through lovely open country with the imposing Sierra Hidalga in the distance. Reaching what was the old venta or inn, we turn west and follow the track through holm oak woods to reach the place know as Pilar de Coca, a lovely spot for a picnic. To finish we continue west from here and soon have Ronda in sight once more. At the end we have to cross a busy main road and a railway line to proceed along a track to the outskirts of Ronda. Through the underpass and 200m on, we are back at the Recinto Ferial where we started.
