Wymeswold is a pretty village near to Loughbrough up on the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border. This is a short walk across rolling fields with great views over to the Charnwood Hills. Wymeswold has a number of pubs serving great food. The walk traverses some fields which are ploughed so it will be muddy and heavy going after rain, much better on a dry spring or summers day or a frosty winters one, when you can warm up afterwards in front of one of the open fires in the pubs.
