Aberedw is a quiet village in the Wye Valley. It is never busy but boasts a pub (Seven Stars) serving walker-size meals and is a good starting point for some lovely walks. This walk climbs up before returning along the banks of the River Edw.

6/2/2011 - Philip Mitchell

Walked this on 1st June 2011. I did manage the path just after Court Farm but with considerable difficulty. Overgrown is an understatement! Similarly the stages along the river were pretty tough, more like I imagine the Orinoco! Thoroughly enjoyed myself but not for children or the faint hearted.

10/20/2009 - Margaret Machin

Walked this on 8/10/09 and found the path after the farm (described as overgrown) had become impenetrable. After a spell of jungle bashing we were forced to turn back to the farm and take the path that bends to the right. This cut a bit off the walk but eventually we got to the river and rejoined the footpath. A nice but muddy in parts walk otherwise
