This circular walk is temporarily closed. The wooden bridge over the River Feshie was swept away by a flood on Sept. 3rd, 2009. It is hoped to have a replacement bridge in place mid 2010. Walks on either side of the river are still possible.

The walk goes up one side of the River Feshie and back by the other. The outward leg (four miles) is easy and requires no special footwear; the return is on more difficult paths with burns to cross and does require boots. Without boots it might be better to return by the outward leg... Note that the two burns to be crossed on the return walk could be difficult after heavy rains...

The walk is through varied landscapes, the outward part being on open grassy pasture, while the return is through heather moor and woodland. There are some really magnificent old Scots pines and lovely river views.
