This is a fine walk up through the forest and over the Coulin Pass, down into the glen and back up by the base of Beinn Liath Mhor to the entrance to Coire Lair, before descending back through the forest to the start.

Fabulous walk with lots of fine views at every turn! Easy to follow paths and a lovely bothy by the waterfall where you branch off onto the stalkers path.

Forest tracks now upgraded to Hydro tracks, and there's a new hydro plant just before 9. There's also a new track just after on the right, which you don't take. If you don't like rocky decents, then do this walk the other way around.

Done 26 Oct 2015. Excellent hike exactly as described. Viewranger put the length at 9.3 miles.

This walk had everything it advertised, the views are absolutely stunning and the panorama changes frequently. The start was easy to find. In general the path is well maintained, although in bad weather I might do this the other way round. A real gem tucked away in the highlands.
