Between Buxton and Ashbourne in the White Peak there several scenic dales and this walk covers 5 of them. Starting from the old Alsop Station car park it soon drops down into the upper reaches of Dovedale. It then follows the River Dove upstream with all the beautiful scenary it has to offer. Eventually the walk emerges out of the dales onto the Tissington Trail for an easy walk back to the start. This is a walk of variety to be enjoyed in all the seasons of the year.

This is a lovely walk. Instructions are mostly fine with the exception of number 10 where one should continue straight on after the gate. Would recommend this walk which is pretty without being too challenging.
