This walk is round one of the loveliest lakes in Wales. The River Glaslyn flows into this lake and above the lake the river is crystal clear, while below the lake it is also very peaceful. The return route is more demanding, but comes down over the spoil heaps of an old copper mine and crosses an ancient stone bridge.
