This is a circular walk around St David's Head - the first section inland and the second along the beautiful Coast Path. The walk starts at Whitesands Bay car park, where there is an excellent beach, with a shop, small cafe and toilets. The Coast Path needs care in winds and is not suitable for young children.

Waypoint 12. Gate is now metal I also followed it on an upload via Viewranger. This was great except that it assumes the walk ends at waypoint 17 so it underestimates the total distance to be covered by over 1 mile, the return from 17 to the start.

I have done this walk many a time however, the peacefulness is always ruined as I am normally assisting a group of 25 young people. Hopefully, I will get a chance to complete this walk later this year on my own and enjoy the serenity of the walk. I must recommend a few moments silence when you arrive at lands ends as even with young people it really hit home how quite they all were!

Just to be difficult we did this walk in reverse as we wanted to make sure we did the coastal bit when the weather was good. A very pleasant walk, to be recommended in either direction.

Very nice walk, good footwear recommended as it gets a bit rocky in places. Beautiful coastline with great views.
